Over the last 14 months, our beautiful John was fighting a battle against a type of cancer called glioblastoma (GBM). GBM is an aggressive type of cancer impacting the brain. Unfortunately, treatment options are limited and can often lead to a poor prognosis. 

John was a fighter and underwent surgery, radiotherapy and 2 different types of chemotherapy. He was determined to give everything he had and fought so bravely. 

John’s name means brave and he completely encompasses that. He was a true warrior and fought to his last breath.

John is such an inspiration to all and has taught us all to never give up, he was always happy and lit up every room he walked into. His memory will live on and not a day will go by without him being in our thoughts.

God really does take his most precious angels too soon and we hope that he is at peace. Although we weren’t able to save our courageous John, we hope that by raising money for research will help someone else’s loved one.
